Dr. Christopher Hooton is a novelist, non-fiction writer, and researcher.
His research specializes in economic development, technology and innovation, the digital economy, and spatial analysis and evaluation. He is the Chief Economist & Head of Research at Internet Association and a Senior Scholar at the George Washington University Institute of Public Policy.
Dr. Hooton is also the author of the novel Observance and the travel memoir How to Backpack with Your Parents. His second novel Peregrine East will be released shortly and he is currently working on several screenplays.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Hooton holds degrees from the University of Miami, the London School of Economics, and the University of Cambridge. He currently resides in London, England.
